Director, Office of International Student Affairs (PDSO/ARO)
262 High Street, Fisk Hall Room 105, Suite 103
(860) 685-3031
Read MoreMorgan Keller serves as Director of the Office of International Student Affairs (OISA) and Wesleyan's principal designated school official (PDSO) for international students studying in F-1 visa status. He grew up in Mariposa (Spanish for “butterfly”), a small town in California’s Sierra Nevada Mountains near beautiful Yosemite National Park. He received his bachelor’s degree from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon where he studied International Affairs and Communications and spent a semester abroad studying Italian and fine arts in Siena, Italy. His other formative international experiences include a Peace Corps service in Ecuador and an eight-year career teaching English as a foreign language in Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan (his first five years with the JET Program). After returning from Japan, Morgan attended Middlebury Institute of International Studies (MIIS) in Monterey, California where he completed a master’s degree program in International Education Management.
Prior to coming to Wesleyan, Morgan worked in International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) offices at UW-Madison in Wisconsin, Clemson University in South Carolina, and UC Santa Cruz in California. Professionally, his passions as an international educator center around holistically supporting and advocating for international students, scholars, and dependents; advancing campus internationalization through partnership-building and collaboration; and enabling accessible and impactful opportunities for global learning and intercultural experiences within and beyond higher education communities.
Morgan has presented at regional and national NAFSA: Association of International Educators conferences and the Workshop on Intercultural Skills Enhancement (WISE) Conference, completed the NAFSA Management Development Program (MDP), and served as the NAFSA Region XI Regulatory Ombuds for Student Issues for two years (2023-2024). He also participated in and completed the 2024-2025 NAFSA Executive Internationalization Leadership e-Institute as a member of the fourth cohort of this year-long program. He is currently serving as the NAFSA Region XI Connecticut State Representative, a NAFSA Trainer Corps Core Education Program (CEP) workshop trainer, and a regional editor and copy editor for the Journal of Comparative and International Higher Education.
Unprofessionally, Morgan's passion is playing and watching soccer, or what most of the world logically calls “football.” His partner is Japanese and together they are raising their two daughters multilingually and multiculturally. 日本の方や日本語のできる方、ぜひOISAまで私に会いに来てくださいね!

Ry De Guzman Jr. (he/him/his)
2025 International Student Orientation (ISO) Intern
Read MoreClass Year: 2028
Intended Majors & Minors: Dance and University Major; minor in Global Engagement
Languages: Filipino, Ilocano, English
Home away from Wesleyan: Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines and Toronto, Canada
Involvement at Wesleyan: University Communications Social Media and Marketing Intern, Concert Committee, The Wesleyan Argus, PINOY Club, Freeman Asian Scholars Association, PCSE Fellow, Sailing Team, AASC, International Buddy Program
Ask me about: On-campus jobs, Dance at Wes, I do content creation on international student life and scholarships so anything related to those topics, social media marketing, navigating life at Wesleyan as a minority (international student, queer, and indigenous)
Favorite Wesleyan memory: I went to El Paso, Texas for my Dance and Environmental Science course and I spent two weeks dancing and connecting with the most amazing classmates, professors, and El Paso peeps.
One piece of advice: Study your passion and work on practical fields outside of it. I am studying Dance and Indigenous Performance Art which are normally deemed as passions and I’ve never been more happy, yet I do marketing jobs for Wesleyan and personal content creation outside of my classes. They don’t have to be mutually exclusive!
